    Log on to www.twitter.com/viewsnews please?

I’m absolutely stunned by the individual running the @inforum site. I treated him/them w/respect and sent twitters there way

We collaborated .. and I was “friends” with inforum; as far as I can tell this twitter account was created Thursday night.

As  soon as information started coming in from Fargo (I have hundreds of friends in the valley on twitter + facebook) I started sending them to the new @inforum

I rec’d 24 direct msgs on the absurdity of the login requirement and account setup of their official site. I relayed those msgs to @inforum

I’ll include the text link; but this is what happened. Keep in mind I was complaining about the fact that flood victims were being forced to login and/or set up an account for ANY information on the Fargo City’s Newspaper. So wrong for so many reasons.

First Response I got on removing the login feature during the flood. This is in response to RT’s questioning inforum’s login release--

5:15 PM Mar 26th  @inforum It came up in meetings, but we have a stable code release live and don't want to risk losing the sites with untested code under heavy load.

In response to the growing requests for ditching the logins and acct. set ups for flood victims here:

inforum: @viewsnews Our flood blog doesn't require registration. But the flood network is a ning we have no control over and inforum is how we make $

about 7 hours ago from twhirl

My response: > viewsnews: @inforum Yes it does. And the “blog” does if they want to Share info or make a comment and really that's what social sites are all about. #flood09

    My “official” complaint:

viewsnews: Local newspaper make flood victims sign in! Views from ME 2 inforum > http://tinyurl.com/cmzyvq (expand v:shapes="_x0000_i1025"> )

And then: viewsnews: @inforum your updates are showing - can't seem to dm. did you block @viewsnews for kvetching about your site? #flood09

Yep. They blocked me. I shared that knowledge = others complained about *both* things; and at least one other person was also banned.

Pretty sad, really.  Just a few examples here:

natehenderson: Wow, @inforum, you really couldn't drop the login requirement for the week?

@nancydevine: @inforum can i access content without making an account?

@nancydevine That login @inforum has got to go! It’s ridiculous!

epizoic: @inforum it is really not cool that i have to log in or register to see emergency information #fargoflood #flood09

@nancydevine I complained and I think they’ve blocked me, too

Real Life: My 1st guest >Barbara Stabiner. Clairvoyant, futurist, energy counselor, visionary, life coach.. here, now

Barbara Stabiner is one of the coolest people you could ever meet.

Her quick wit and really unique New York-ish accent really reach her family, friends and clients. She works from her home on Long Island serving people just like you and I all over the world.

As a client myself; She told me a few years ago I'd be taking a new job and doing lots and lots of driving. I told her flatly. No way. I had a job and hated to drive. Within a few months I rec'd a good offer from a station 1 and 1/2 hours away. I commuted - driving 3 hours a day for 5 long months. Guess she was right. She told me she saw me walking up and down stairs... she said it was a nice house and she saw me liking it>> Impossible I thought. I had lived in apartments my whole life. Maybe she saw the apt. steps I thought. Within a week of that reading; I started moving into the first house I would ever own. The finished basement is kid HQ and I am up and down the stairs at least a dozen times or more.
I could go on and on and on... Questions? ask me; or head to her website www.barbarastabiner.com
Awhile back she had mini-readings on the cheap. If necc. You could look into that.

    INTERVIEW NUMBER ONE:

What is life like at home with this energetic clairvoyant, futurist, energy counselor, visionary, and life coach

My friend and futurist; Barbara Stabiner! Find her website online at www.barbarastabiner.com
She discretely councils everyone from big time celebrities to high powered government officials. Here are my questions to her >>>>>

    * Do you get nervous when you have radio and/or televison interviews about your abilities?
I use to get nervous wondering what I would talk about..but then I relaxed visualizing the audience all sitting on the toilet!

RADIO and TV PEOPLE: You can interview Barbara on your show.
JUST SEND AN E-MAIL REQUEST TO: futuring11@aol.com

    * How old were you when you realized that you were able to recieve information?
Early on, but then in those days who knew what a psychic was and thought it was normal and everyone could see

    * Tell me about the word "futurist." What does it mean to you?

The ability to see the future from where the energies are at the present time...and forecast the world to come by what's happening in the present!

    * How are mediums, or psychics different? Some people are psychic and mediums at the same time. Mediums connect with those no longer living. Psychics are people who have developed ESP to accomplish a desired result and deals with astral and earth energies of man

    * Have you ever met a psyhic, futurist or medium with whomb you were able to assertain was NOT gifted in these ways?
    * yes, they call themselves fortune tellers and are piggie backers following those who are!

    * What is your favourite meal? Pizza

    * Tell me something you miss?
Being my thinner self and my husband

    * How important are your friends to you? Friends are our extended family, those who think on the same level as you, without jealous who help each other in dealing with the family you came into

    * Do you have any children?
    three daughters

    * What's the hardest career advice you ever had to dish out ?

Boy, that's a great qudstion!! The answers are: I do not like dealing with other people's choice telling them how to use their money. I speak about working with corporations, stock market advise, etc

    * What do readings cost? Are there different types? It varies as far as I am concerned how much do I feel my time is worth.

People can charge $25 up to thousands. I KNOW A FEW who make this and milk the stupid public..

    * How many clients would you say you've had over the years 'till now? At least......60,000

    * When did you start services for your clients via the telephone?

when a client I had locally who moved to Los Vegas and wanted to know how she could work with me..Soooooo we tried the phone and I discovered the phone had electro-magnetic energy and viola it worked!!

    * Have you ever done a reading without hearing a voice; as in e-mail or US mail? Yes I have with a Birthday..we call it a "witness"

    * Briefly, if you would.. tell me what was life like for you growing up?

Grew up in Brooklyn, NY..married and lived in St Paul. Minn where my first daughter was born, lived in Montreal Canada, Georgia and Caracas Vensuela and some time Puerto Rico

    * Do you know if you have (or had) any realatives with spiritual-like abilities? Yes, from my grandparents relatives who used cards and played a game called "Rise Table" where they sat around a bridge table, held hands and asked the table to rise with yes and no questions

    * Have you ever been asked to find lost items? Yup..it works sometime when I feel like doing it.

    * Have you ever had to tell someone they were sick, dying, or going to be hurt in any way? (of course, I know this answer but I think ppl. would find it interesting)

Yes but I don't like to see death with a client unless they ask about very ill or aged people.

    * Your focus of career advice.. is it in particularly high demand (career advice) now as the earth changes from old world and new world? That is why I started my blog to allow people to think

    * What (if any) is the most COMMON question *(about career advice) you get? What is their passion and what do they want within reason and also how to go for it.

so, do you have Questions? ask me; or head to her website www.barbarastabiner.com
Awhile back she had mini-readings on the cheap. If necc. You could look into that.

    sweet, tasty buzz ++
    Current mood: It is Quiet.

I am here alone in a quiet house. It is dark.

    Very, very dark.

Ok, so I'm not *exactly* alone. LOL.

    The short story?

I'll try. We loss power about 3 hours ago now. Prepare                                                                                                                                                              for the typo's cuz' it's really dark in here.

    Candles? A few. Scented even.

    Egads, batman! My sweet batterys

power is only at a remaining 10percent.

    The girls are fast asleep.

They were hot and bored by the

    time they passed out.

We passed the time writing stories

    and watching some euro telly

    I'd recorded on the laptop

(which is why my battery is low-

we used it all night)  and caught an

American episode of the Simpsons via

battery as well. Meh! Anything is better

than nothing when youre waiting for power.

((( Im at 8 percent power now! )))

Blimey! If I could only power up the

    desktop now.. heh-heh. Tonight -

My Whitney said - sort of Eureka!

style ""I know, Mom.. Lets just turn on

the TV. - then we'll be able to see!""  lol..

Kids.. OF course I explained to her that

the telly was something else we plug in.

Speaking of not living well without power,

I'm fully prepared to dig into my novels

by candlelight. It is how I will spend my

evening tonight but, I am using up every

last SECOND of this laptops pwer. LOL..

Every second. I've already adjusted the

properties so that I can work until the

end and not hibernate as per always.

I can't wait to read by candlelight though

I will be glad to see the power come again.

*sigh* I won't think of sleeping of course..

    Lol. Nooooooooo.. Couldnt do that..

    Oy! It's been a long time w/o - doesn't look

good for power now.. perhaps in the morning?

Maybe it was a squirrell? I am at 7

percent power now and fading fast I

imagine. 13 minutes it says.. (laughs)

It is funny. I think I like this sense of urgency.

It helps me realize how much I write like most people breathe..

Why I am so happy most days I feel spoiled rotten by it..

how much reading blogs light my fire...

my desires.. words not only heal

and inspire they engulf me in pleasure...

    It is.

Ok, so.. I found a trivia game

that I had nestled in my goodie box -

    GOODIE BOX: A virtual folder

    I keep of games, goofiness

    (euro programmes) and guilty pleasures

(hip hop and old country) for when I'm

stuck at the airport or without power like now

I also have a few books but I'm going to be

    reading plenty in a minute..

Anyway, yes.. this game?? It IS called Trivia

Madness and it was most addicting. If only

Whit and I hadn't wrote that story earlier

I"d have the power to play more!  Oh, but it

was a cute story. I'll post it as well. That will

make up for this lameass post.

4 perecnt power now and I'm

misspelling and feeling like I am writing

a death letter. LoL.. Not funny I know..

But ironic maybe? I dunno.. I'm delirious..

And so I write.. Heh-heh. and make

little sense.. and enjoy that thought..

    (laughs)

Books on deck at 2 yes 2 percent power..

POWER OF NOW - classic by mr .

    eckart tolle.

    And MASTERY OF LOVE-

    don migel ruiz..

    They are bedside and handy..

No searching thru a dusty bookshelf alone

in the dark with only the light of a cellphone

     to guide me.

    WHAT?

I am not walking in the dark carrying

    a candle its too dangerous..lol - ok.

One percent remaining and I'm saving

and signing off.. I can't take the pressure.

    g'ahead.. call me a wussy!

    God Speed dear mr. power.

Well miss your sweet, tasty buzz..

    Time to go read

like Laura Engles.. Wilder.. I guess.

    Peace.

    Xx

    life in the fast lane

I hope *you* are enjoying a hot, fresh

    cup of your favourite

    wake-up juice...

    Whatever your flavour.

    *sigh*

This is a "good morning" blog.

    I know the situation going

     on the Mideast right now

has essentially been going on for ..

    Well, forever essentially -

    but, these new-ish developments

    have me feeling jumpy.

    I think the recent declaration

    of the Osama-lama- [Al Qaeda]

gang; declaring their alliance with Saddam - the former Iraq; and

    now the recent discovery of

Osama's ties to the PLO and

    Al Qaeda's recent proclimation

    of an alliance with Hezbollah??

It truly makes one realize that this

    force [however unrecognizable]

is not going away anytime soon.

They really dont care *who* we

    have as president now - later;

whenever - they just know they

hate the United States. It doesnt matter

what we do, where we go,

or even how we protect ourselves.

They were born and raised to hate.

    It sounds completely horrific..

    It is just that.

    We'll never quench their

    fervent desire to truly spit

on the face of our rally

    cry for peace, freedom

    and pride in something

that matters to most of us.

    This next election will

    galvanize some kind

    of reaction, sure..

    And, no matter what the

    outcome, or which way things

will swing. America will still be

a democracy. We'll still be despised

by much of the world that

    surrounds us.

    Perhaps our children's children

will see a time when the ideas in the West become more and more

    self-sacrificing and less and less

indulgent - focus: conservation, preservation, dedication.

Sorry, I went off there. Rant Over.

    New rant coming.

    I can feel it.

    *lopsided grin*

    I would think the current

    administration has thought

of this - but, do you 'spose

we have a few of ours inside?

    Do you really think so?

    I hope so. Apparently,

    Al Qaeda has been

    recruiting young and

    old alike online

    since 1997. It'd be

    nice to know *someone*

     is telling who they should

the goings on of the hideously unorganized

    and dreadfully deadly

    insurgents.

    I wonder what is required

of a young Jedi in their

     motley faction?

    Yikes! I cant even imagine.

I dont want to right now.

    See?

     This is what happens

    when you discover

    some clean neat, and

    late-late night to dawn

    coverage on CBS

    of all networks.

    Well, it doesnt hurt

    this particular network

that both anchors are two very professional,

    *blush*

    and especially beautiful

    women. The show is

    called Up-to-the-minute

by the way and I don't

    recommend it if you're sleepless.

The news is not a good thing

    generally speaking.

I know, I know, it sounds

    crazy. I can't even believe

    the words that are now

    spilling out of my virtual

    mouth into the tiny little

    keyboard beneath my fingertips.

But this will have to wait for

    another blog. My eyelids are

    becoming weighty.

    Ok, I despise bagels..

    but maybe *you* want one?

I hope your day is clean, productive and magnificent!

    bloody bowflex
    Current mood: bitchy

Damnit. Its after 4am and here

I am watching stupid ass MTV

( ie; my millionth bowflex commercial ) -

worse its a re-run of room

    raiders of all things.

Im really, really sick in the

     head for watching..

    Well, letting it roll

    on in the background as

I try to catch up on my

favourite blogs. There is a can

of raid in one of my hands

     (even whilst typing sometimes)

and a half - eaten roll of

sprees are next to the laptop.

Another whack at a book on

    grieving and some

    eclipse mints. I always

    have mints bedside. '

    I * really * am pretty freaky..

    Not to mention animated.

    * goofy smile*

So yeah.. This fly. Ive given him the

occasional fly by spray -- closing my own

eyes and mouth and hoping like hell I dont

breathe in too much raid. Dont get me wrong,

Im generally free-loving - but, this fly was the size

of a dime.. He had to go. It has been thundering and

raining and lightening all night.. lol.. I"m listening

to the thunder  as I write.. rumble - rumble..

all night off and on.. it's like RAIN ALREADY..

Anyway, back to the fly - now- he

     is trapped somewhere hopelessly

buzzing into what sounds like a plastic bag.

The trouble is, I have no idea where its at.

My space is meticulously neat at present (kids are with daddy)

so, its not like I cant see straight.. But I can hear the little bastard

buzzing.. Dying essentially.. Making me feel 10 different

kinds of bad irritated all at once.. Giving me a headache

     the size of mt. rushmore.

Did you know I once was blonde? Yep.

Too blonde if you ask me. What the heck was I thinking? .

..wish I knew. *sigh* I'm thinking about everything all at once....

Dayam. Talk about ADHD on ADD.

Tonight, I happen to notice that I had 809 friends.

As Ive done before I just hacked, cut up and bingo.

    - about half as many friends much easier to manage

. *giggle* hope I didnt offend any 1. Since my profile

is now set to private, I imagine Ill find out if I did. LoL.

    That is all.

    Current mood: artistic

This is a post about a major

    shift in my thinking that

occurred just a few years ago.

    This shift caused a dramatic

improvement in my enjoyment of life.

    Now, I don't want to

sound like a commercial but -

    if -

    I *was* selling

    something it would be a

.....So break the old pattern of present-moment denial and

    PRONUNCIATION:   -ls-r, -z-r

present-moment resistance. Make it your practice to withdraw attention from past and future whenever they are not needed.

Step out of the time dimension as much as

possible in everyday life. If you find it hard to

enter the Now directly, start by observing the

    '

habitual tendency of your mind to want to escape

    from the Now.

You will observe that the future is usually

imagined as either better or worse than the present.

If the imagined future is better, it gives you

hope or pleasurable anticipation. If it is worse,

it creates anxiety. Both are illusory.

    existential cafe
    Current mood: creative
    Category: Life

Do you exist, or are you mearly floating in the waves of life?

Sorry! an unexpected error has occurred.

This error has been forwarded to MySpace's technical group

This Cafe of Lost Souls is open *all* night. We're located just at the end

of the Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

The ancient faded signs on the walls and the ripped

vinyl in the booths suggest that even in peak daylight hours,

there is little comfort or cheer to be found inside. At night, a

cold bluish light casts irregular shadows on the scarred Formica

table tops and gives one the feeling of having wandered into a dismal limbo.

The waitress is sitting at one of the tables near the cash register,

her head propped on one arm, eyes focused on something that

only she can see. One can see that ten years ago she would have

had the kind of baby face that can get a woman almost anything

she wants from men. But now the face is puffy and shows

the meanness of a woman who life has cheated over and over again.

In the middle of the cafe, a man and woman are staring

past each other across a table. The half-finished plates

of food in front of them have been cold for a long time.

One senses that some time in the past, perhaps as recently

as an hour or so ago, there was a connection between these two.

Now, each seems disconnected not only from the other, but from the rest of the world as well.

Somebody put an incredible amount of money in the

juke box a long time ago, and it's still playing Billie Holiday records.

It must be about four o'clock in the morning --- that time of night when

life is on stand-by and doesn't move, doesn't think, doesn't see, but only endures.

I fell asleep too early again and now I'm wide awake and it's too late (early?)

arrrgh.. I miss my gf. seriously!! I bought Whitter and Olive little radios

w/headphones (inspired by ipods.. you could say they are poor man's ipod)

they are tiny and trendy looking and they are diggin' on listening to the radio all the time..

     heh-heh.
